That helpless feeling when you just stand by, while someone you love gets hurt so badly and you can’t do anything about it cos it’s something not in your league to understand. As much as you can be there for that person, you can’t find the right words to say. I can’t stand watching my best friend go through one hurdle after another. If there really is some higher unknown power up there, please tell me why. Yeah sure everyone could use a little adversity but this is ridiculous. Stop taking love away from this girl. If anything, she could use a kinda love that’s transcendent. She deserves it.

So please, here’s my prayer for tonight. Give her some saving grace. God knows she needs it right now.
